It was a well played game by both teams. Drouin had a good game despite the bad turn over at the end that lead to the lone goal against.

I didn't think Koskinen played bad. Sometimes he was a little scrambly and lost sight of the puck once or twice but he still played well.

Getting almost nothing out of McJesus and Drai for 2 straight games rarely ever happens I'm assuming, but for what I've seen from Koskinen, he's not a starting caliber G. So many juicy rebounds..

honestly heres how I saw it. Edmonton did not have that spark within them till the 2 mins of the game when montreal got cocky and Shore scored that SHG. Now if Russels shot went in that may have swung the momentum into tying the game late and forcing OT. Tippet has to get these boyz going as they almost got shutout there last 2 games and with Mcdavid and Draisaitl that should not be acceptable.

Holland also has work to do as Klefbolm really needs a backup

Edmonton came out flying in the first and got 4 straight PP's. The issue was really lucky bounces for the Habs and our D keeping us in the game through most of 2 periods. The Weber goal turned things around and we got a bit of breathing room and kind of took the wind out of Edmonton's sail so to speak. Lehky's goal was almost the dagger until Drouin got cut at our own blue line from there on it was an all out battle.

Habs offence wasn't clicking all that much this game either. EDM had a lot of the momentum for most of the game, they just couldn't convert.

Look, I'm not saying Koskinen is bad, but at most he's a fringe starter. Not a legit #1 Goaltender.

It costed a 3rd round pick for Allen with is 4.35M caphit. If he was making less, he would have cost at least a 2nd round pick
