idk why people think this is a thing lol, I don't recall ottawa ever actually doing this. My main point was that the sharks are paying too many people too much money (they have like 40mil in unmovable deals) and that combined with a mediocre pipeline means they're doomed to be a bottom feeder for the next few years. They had their decade of contention and now that's done, which is fine, every team has to rebuild at some point, but I would just really hate to see an elite talent like Wright get stuck there, we've already had to entire several years of playoffs not featuring McDavid and call me crazy but I like watching the best players in the world play come crunch time lol
