Tampa's 1st line should be here. For comparison
Toffoli-Kotkaniemi-Armia have a combined 16 points in 6 games
Palat-Point-Stamkos have a combined 15 points in 4 games
Do the math, just because they have played less games everyone is writing them off

Or Winnipeg...Connor, Scheifele and Wheeler have 26 points in 6 games...all 3 players are in the top 9

It's not about raw points totals, the stats are isolated independently from icetime.

Their defensive game screws up all of their offensive efforts. They are actually the 5th worst line in the league in xGA/60

Fine...Copp, Stastsny and Ehlers have 13 or so points in their last 3(since they played together) insane advanced metrics too

Tampa's line is playing about 18 minutes a game on average. Montreal's is about 15 minutes a game so it isn't a terribly large difference. And if you consider what defensive lines the teams are putting against them. Tampa's line is facing the other teams best defensive line. Montreal's is playing the 2nd or 3rd best defensive line of the opposing team.

Yeah they're great, they just haven't played 40 minutes yet which is why I didn't include them

I know I'm a Kings fan, but I feel like Anderson-Doughty deserves to be here. Both are incredibly good so far this season.

Both have been good individually, but Anderson has been better with Roy and Doughty has been better with Maatta

For the last couple games they've been paired together and Maata has been scratched.

reading these comments is like asking Canadians to name the top ten players of all time. Arguments and opinions are a flying. I am sitting back and eating my popcorn! lol

The matter is that it is based on a statistic, so people don't disagree with me, but with numbers and a model that I'm only referring to.

I hear ya. Most people jump on the first negative thing they do not like when looking at the rosters. I try to post a positive and a negative. Balance out the feedback.

Although, the Ottawa line of Tkachuk-Norris-Batherson line has been really good. Also, a Philadelphia line deserves to be on there.
