Having a 37 Brian Elliot as your backup goalie is a nice way to remind people of micheal hutchinson

Except Kemper has been one of the league's best goalie for a few calendar years now, yes he is a starter and he's pretty damn close to being an elite one

no he hasnt been a starter. a starter plays 50 games or more in a season Kuemper hasnt (only once). Kuemper and Raanta are benifited by a great defencive system in Arizona

Are you blind???

Kuemper has been carrying them for what now 2 calendar years and a half??

In 18-19 he was the only thing keeping them out of the basement, he was a top 5 goalie for a good stretch that season.

In 19-20 he carried them during the start of the season and when he went down the tea went downhill

Also, good defensive structure??? OEL, Chychrun, Hjalmarsson, Goligoski, Demers, Oesterle, Lyubushkin. That's a good top 7 but not elite. OEL is a fringe number 1, they don't have a true number 3 since Demers, Hjalmarsson and Goligoski are number 4s...

Chayka, Mitchell miller, the non existent fans, the poor financial stability, the cheating at the combine and having no picks, and the awful management have entered the chat

Raanta was injured in 18-19 ans was only average last season. It's Kuemper who does the work there.

That’s fair. Although if he continues playing how he’s played the last 2 seasons for 2 more, I’d expect him to be closer to $8 million.

No one can afford an 8 million dollar tender. Markstrom had as many teams bidding as anyone. Kuemper will get maybe 6x5 or 6x4.
