He only has a year left so....That was part of my thinking, bit more than a Muzzin return...1st, 3rd, Samberg, Niku.....replace Samberg with one of Harkins, Vesalainen or Gustafsson if they want a F prospect.

Not unless it was an overpay. Wouldn’t be surprised if he re-signs this summer.

Don’t get me wrong, it’d be amazing. I’d certainly be good with giving that up for him.

I thought he signed the deal with the intention to resign. He's been very vocal about loving where he's playing. I think he knew the isles were in a bit of a cap crunch and took a deal that works for him, and helps the team out. I doubt he walks as a FA.

Yeah that’s what I thought - but tbh if the jets offered perfetti + (unlikely) then I would hope the isles would consider it.

If Pulock was open to a long term extension, I'd move Perfetti + Gawanke for Pulock. Our C's aren't the issue anymore, we don't have a top pairing RD. It's killing us, our RD have been awful, I mean pionk has been average, the rest suck. The Jets become an instant cup contender with Pulock.

Does WPG view perfetti as a W or a C? I thought I read somewhere that he’s better suited to be a winger in the NHL.

For sure, the jets desperately need a top pair RH D to take some pressure off of Morrissey. It’s the missing piece

now a winger...but Hall is up for grabs...lol...in all seriousness, there are a few wingers that we could get in FA(if they want to come) that I would trade Perfetti if there was an agreement in place(cant sign him until summer)

As a Islanders fan no chance they trade Pulock. He is untouchable even if the team is not doing well. The only defenseman I can see them trading is Hickey.

Oh Perfetti will be a winger, cause that's what the Jets do with center prospects, turn them into wingers, even talk they might put Dubois on the wing, only in Winnipeg, only in Winnipeg.... 😂
