Bennet to Toronto makes sense for Toronto though. Hes been a hard guy to play against in the playoffs and the leafs need that. It's keeping him happy in the line up that's gonna be hard.

he would be on the PP but yea. Only works if they can get him into the top 6 somewhere. I think he'd be ok with top 6 wing, as long as he's top 6 with PP thats pretty good

Strange that the through Bennett NHL career, ALL of those Calgary are so dumb as not put in a top 6 position. Gee, maybe he just isn't good enough despite Bennett's protests.
He certainly does not fit into the Leafs top 6, probably not in the top 9..
Bennett will get his chance next summer when he as UFA, since he has little chance of being qualified as RFA.
