Description
I know this won't happen but I love the guy!

Pandemic shortened seasons have shortened the number of potential games Ovi will be able to play in his career. Somehow Dubas gets Pavel Bure, Sergei Federov and Putin to convince Ovi that his best chance at maximizing his elder years in the league is to play alongside the young core in Toronto. Ovi signs this deal with a full NTC.

Be nice if there is a few familiar faces that resign and Hyman will take a home town discount if offered some term.

I see Mrazek and Campbell as a 1a 1b type of tandem, splitting games 60/40.

Bogosian signs as grit and depth but likely lil makes the jump with sandin for a solid 3rd pairing next year.

Spezza and Simmonds over this year become even more important to the chemistry in the room and both sign team friendly deals again to be part of hopefully a repeat championship!

Yeah I mean Joe at least has ties to Toronto though. I can't imagine how they could convince Ovi to leave the Caps or take a discount for that matter! But yeah I can dream.

Excellent point! In this fantasy, McDavid doesn't score highlight reel goals every time they play the leafs!
