Biggest Mistake in Team History

Description
Which is the biggest mistake in Sens history - drafting Daigle over Pronger in 1993 or the sign-and-trade of Hossa for Heatley that ultimately alienated Chara (yes, I realize that there were other factors, but that was one of, if not the, biggest)? There have obviously been a ton of other bad decisions made by the org, but I think these have to be the two top contenders. Thoughts?

Heatley put up back to back 100 point seasons on like the only good teams you've ever had and you call that one of the worst trades history?

Heatley was great for a short period of time for Ottawa and Redden flamed out fast. Comparing that to the careers of both Hossa and Chara after they left Ottawa is where it gets bad fast.

They definitely chose Redden over Chara, but Chara was good friends with Hossa in Ottawa and the sign-and-trade really soured his relationship with the team. Even if they'd wanted to sign Chara over Redden, I'm not sure he would have stayed, which made the choice a moot point.

The Chara stuff is just a rumor.

Heatley was fantastic and was more than a point per game player in the playoffs when they went to the finals. You can be sad about Hossa but to call it the biggest mistake in team history is quite a leap.

Well, perhaps if the thread title let it be known that it didn't belong here, I agree. This one didn't.

Picking Daigle first overall was not a mistake. It was the choice almost, if not every GM would've made. All the hockey analyst who claimed they knew, years AFTER, are full of crap.
