Description
GM who botched this trade is gone so I think FF would be fine with it. Time for the prodigal son to come home and take some stabs at a Cup. Let me know if Caps are giving too much or not enough.

I would argue that Vrana alone has more value than Forsberg

Yeah, WSH has a gonna be in for some rough years but Vrana could be one of those guys that keeps them in it. Maybe something around Siegenthaler, Protas, and a 1st as a base?

Can't do that as the money in no way would work. I put Vrana in there because he is going to be up at the end of this year and would want 5 - 6 million anyway. Can't afford both.

Siegs is a good Defensive defensmen with big size. Protas is a very big boy too playing center very well in the KHL right now...underrated.

That’s fair, obviously there would have to be some cap movement to make a final deal work. IDK, maybe you move Kuzy out. That’s not ideal since he’s a legit performer but his consistency is all over, but who would you rather have?

Well, I can't see Nash wanting another 8 million dollar center, so Kuzy in a Forsberg deal for Nashville doesn't seem right.

Yeah, I was thinking a separate deal but you should be able to make cap work this year and push next year to next year. I’m not fully versed in WSH cap limits so I’m just spitballing how to work it.

For the last few years they have been right up against the cap (pun) so any deals they would make would be the same, or close on the dollar for dollar.

I don't think you need to argue this point. Vrana HAS more value than F.F. wink
