I thought you were kidding until you wrote “realistically” in your explanation. This is garbage. That bruins trade is the worst trade in capfriendly history

not sure how its that bad considering Boston would essentially be getting a 1st overall pick (Tavares), a 3rd overall pick (Galchenyuk), a potential top 4 d-man in Dermott, and the 5th rounder is thrown is as a sweetner. The value is definitely at least even, its debatable who gets the better end of this deal

Please tell me you're joking. Avs counter with Erik Johnson (1st overall pick) for Auston Matthews (1st overall pick)

the difference is that Galchenyuk and JT actually panned out. Galchenyuk 321 points > EJ 304 points. plus EJ wouldn't be a fit in Toronto cuz they're defence core is set. It's not like im offering Yakupov for Pastrnak

If Galchenyuk panned out, why was he placed on waivers and went unclaimed. JT is overpaid. EJ doesn't have as many points because maybe he's a defensemen.

That pasta deal isnt anywhere close. Whats the point of bringing in a 30 year old player on a long term 11 million deal for a 24 year old 50 goal scorer who gets paid 5 million less. Also Galchenyuk and Dermott aint moving the needle. A pasta deal would either have to include a young stud, or an immense of amount of picks and prospects.

The McDavid trade is bad and the MacKinnon trade is worse. So dumb that you actually wasted the time to do something so dumb.

It's ACGM's like this that give us leaf fans a bad reputation. The rest of the league does not exist to give us their good/great players for underwhelming returns.
