Perhaps. But I like Tierney's fit way too much. Canucks have the right core, add podkolzin and fill the voids left by a bit of the cap next year? Tierney is the exact player we are missing. Makes for a really nice center core going forward.

Overpaying for a 3C just makes the problem worse. They're better off adding actual impact players which actually fixes their problem

Ottawa accepts the tierney trade, might accept the Islanders trade and will decline the other two.

Based on how things are going for the Canucks, Vancouver's 2nd round pick this year will be roughly the same value as a low 1st.

Ottawa might accept the Islanders trade if you retain on one of Bailey or Clutterbuck.

Also, the Sens don't touch Ryan Murray with a ten-foot pole.

We have a Logan Brown already in Michael Rasmussen. I'd rather have Cholo or get a different asset for Cholo than have two Rasmussen's

The other day, I made a post on Logan Brown and Rasmussen.

And I saw the same thing you did when I suggested a one-for-one swap.

The other day, I made a post suggesting trading Brown for Rasmussen straight up.

To see if either player catches fire on our respective clubs.

Possibly. I accounted for the value of 2021 2nds being a bit lower, though I would agree a late 2nd or high 3rd with Gaudette (who is meh value rn) is more decent.

Our issue is in the bottom six.... so I think we need to work on rounding out a more impactful and well rounded bottom six that isn't devastating on the cap. Tierney is a pretty impressive 3C if given the right partners.

As an Islanders fan I would perfer if you took Hickey as oposed to Clutterbuck. Clutterbuck is a good 4th liner so I would hope to keep him. I think Hickey can be an NHL defenseman but the Islanders already have 6 good defensmen.

That 2nd rounder from Canucks is awfully high they likely dont move it so that they have a high pick
