Got to imagine Kerfoot would be the more valuable pick from the Leafs. Thats not a strong forward group and an extra top 6 winger who can fill in at center is far more valuable than a 3rd pairing left d who probably isnt even the best option you have there among these picks.

Driedger is a UFA in Florida and one they'll have trouble paying. Kind of throwing away a pick there.

I praise the work you've put on this

I'll speak for the Habs, Joel Armia is likely gone. They'll protect Evans instead.

Would be shocked to see Turris selected when Lagesson is also available, unless Turris turns his game around down the stretch. But will be happy if he is taken!

I respect your process. But you cant pass on Kerfoot, Kilhorn, Mahura (ANA) and Skjei.

I get you are trying to get a decent center line, but Henrique/Johnson isn't it. Better focus on the best players available and fill up with UFAs. Im a big believer in Iafallo.

That first defensive pairing is terrible.

I like that you're doing this! I just posted mine as well, it takes time but is a lot of fun as well.

I see you forgot to protect Landeskog. Would you just leave Burakovsky/Kadri unprotected instead of him or would you change to 7-3-1 instead and leave a player like Toews unprotected?

Also, Klefbom wasn't protected. He is a gamble do to his injuries. But if not protected, I would definitely gamble on him!

Avs stick to 4-4-1 with a verbal agreement to resign Landeskog. Illegal, but cant prove it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Some poeple say Klefbom could be exempted because he will miss the 60 last games to injury. Not clear at all.

There was clearly a lot of thought put into this team, exposing UFAs, selecting players signed through 2022, addressing team values, very nicely done!

Idk, he's a ppg player this year and will have one year left. There's no urgency to get rid of him.

Yeah I messed up on Kerfoot but I just don't like him. I picked Johnson since Tampa would give a first. I messed up on Skjei too. Iafallo was a free agent so I passed on him.

Landeskog is a free agent so no need to protect him. Toews is pretty good. I wasn't too sure what to do with Klefbom.

Journalists in Winnipeg say the GM is a fan of Stanley. They could chose to protect him over Demelo. Who knows....

Pernell and Johnson....these guys aren't going to be on Seattle unless 1st round picks are coming with them.
It's impossible to take any draft seriously when you don't consider the cap dump trade route. As Seattle will be swallowing cap for teams.

I personally think the Isles protect Bailey or Bellows but I wouldn't be completely surprised if what you're suggesting played out
