I get you not liking the trade, however a comment like Skinner has “more value to us” is just false. He has developed an attitude issue and is playing so poorly that the coach has him as a healthy scratch lately, saying he has value at this point is just ridiculous. Either your trolling or your a blind fan with no reality on what players value is. Skinner is quickly shaping up as one of the worst contracts in the nhl almost as bad as Vlasic’s. Yes I have a feeling Skinner will rebound in a better environment, but I don’t think he will ever live up to that contract.

Krueger has something against Skinner, and seemingly refuses to play him with anyone who might actually get an offensive opportunity. To call me a blind fan is obnoxious if not just incorrect. He’s had some bad luck when he does is create his own chances this season, but Jack and Hall have also had bad luck this year too. Considering that teams think we would have to overpay just to be rid of that contract, it serves us better to keep him and let him rebound under a better coach. At the very least he still has 20 goal potential when he is feeling like himself. That might not be worth $9 million a year, but most players who score 40 points a season these days think they’re worth $5 million a year. He may never live up to the contract, but he can still be serviceable and productive.

I think you would agree Vlasic is useless now. Kane has proven to be a problem, or at least a distraction everywhere he has gone. I doubt Buffalo would be interested in bringing him back. And I still believe we like Lazar and would not be trading him.

Agreed, There is not a snowballs chance in hell Kim Pegula would allow Kane back in a Sabres uniform. When he pulled that crap just before the draft when it was being held in Buffalo she wanted him gone the next day.

Kane won’t ever go back to Buffalo I agree to that, skinner rebounding with Buffalo just won’t happen he needs a change of scenery, Vlasic is still a decent player but not a 7 mil player by a long shot.

His contract is too long and he is too old, Vlasic needs to retire before he hurts himself. Skinner can rebound under a better coach, especially if one can put him with better linemates.
