Any chance you’d do Foegele and a later pick instead for Eric Staal? Buffalo really could use a right winger who plays like him, even though he’s a LW.

Can’t see anyway the Sabres get a better offer for Staal with the way he’s producing
So if any team out there offers a 2nd, I’d imagine they jump on it

Let’s not trade away a top 4 defenseman with term for bit pieces please. Gards has missed 7 of last 8 games with a back injury - trading Skjei puts us in a very bad spot for depth. I will never understand downgrading the defense when going for a cup.

We don’t need to add forwards unless they are top 6 on a good contract with term. Canes have top PP unit in the league and are top 3 in scoring.
