Pretty good value for the Preds on the first trade, but I can't see the Ducks accepting anything near that offer (especially with the retained $). It would have to take at least a 1st for the Ducks to trade Getzlaf imo

The first trade is great for Winnipeg and the second one is terrible for Winnipeg.

I really liked the Paul Stastny signing in the off season. But when the Jets made the trade for PLD I think the Jets need to look at trading Stastny and look for a #1 LW or #2 LW.

Personally I prefer the Ducks trade for the Jets over the Preds trade, Anaheim won't make that deal though.

Not me. I know you don't like Demelo, but he's the better defenseman and Getzlaf would be alright, he's just not worth what were giving up here. Besides he's not waiving for Winnipeg anyways.

DeMelo is maybe #5. Pionk, Morrissey, Forbort, and Stanley I have ahead of him. Too bad they don't play Stanley more.

There are some games Perreault plays like he is the best depth player but unfortunately he is just that - a depth player and that is just some games.

People don’t like DeMelo because he isn’t flashy, but he is real steady and stabilized Jmo when he we really struggling for a while. Also he’s great at breaking plays up at our blue line and getting it to the forwards quickly, his analytics support that as well
