Think Zajac waives? I have my doubts. Also, PK may be playing himself into a tradable asset. Long shot, but I would no longer be surprised if something happened with him this TDL. Low probability, but no longer zero.

I'm starting to think a Sharangovich-Hischier-Kuokkanen line could work, with Hischier taking Zajac's spot. It would be a defensively sound line with some scoring pop ... just wonder if that is underutilizing Hischier. Could be a great match up line vs other teams top line. Hughes can then center a line with their two best scoring wingers, whoever they may be next year. 21-22 will be interesting.

Chariot is there for salary purposes. Devils really don't have a need for him. Mete and the 3rd would be fair value for Butcher. What about if the Habs upgrade the pick to a 2nd and Devils add Kulikov?

I doubt he waives but I want him to try to win a cup. PK could be traded but I rather hold on to him and see how Walsh and Wilde develop.

That is a very interesting line combo. I think it would definitely work but I rather keep Nico with Zacha and Bratt since they were playing well before Nico's injury. Maybe we could get Coleman in free agency or trade for Henrique (retained) to fill in as the 3rd line center veteran. Both of them could be good options for that line. 2021-22 is going to be exciting

Coleman between Sharangovich & Kuokkanen would be a tough line to play against. I'd love to see that.

Chiarot isn’t bad, he’s a better player than Mete Kulikov and probably Butcher, we just need another puck moving dman because Petry is the only one. And no, I rather keep Chiarot than paying a 2nd to get Butcher

I would hesitantly accept that Palmieri trade, but I’m not thrilled with the conditions. If he was having a better year, I’d be okay with giving a 1st for him but I just don’t think he’s worth it rn. I’d rather give two guaranteed 2nds and I don’t think that’s crazy unfair

EDIT: Okay to be fair, it’s only a 1st if we make round 3 so I guess losing out on pick 28-31 might be worth it if we get back there. Idk I’d do it I guess

COL and NJ have reportedly been scouting each other, wonder if a Compher Zajac is in play. COL will have to move salary to take salary, and after tonight’s back up goalie debacle (seriously how does such a big guy get beat 3 straight in a shootout and literally end up laying flat on the 3rd one) of another sub .900 performance something has to give there.

Why would Coleman go back to NJ? He's going to get a lot of good offers from contenders, perhaps even including Colorado if they can move some salary out to make room.

Johansson got beat 7 times including the shootout. Against Arizona. Some of the goals were just insanely soft too, like the 1st one that floated in from the blueline, or the 4th one where he lifted his pad instead of covering the post. This surely can't be the only goalie move the Avs make.

Id ask that same question of you ... Why wouldn't he go to NJ? He's familiar with the team / area, they have zero cap constraints / can pay top dollar and have a young and upcoming team with deep prospect pool.

Yeah thats why I made those conditions. I think it would be a good deal for both sides.

I was thinking Dell but he hasn't been playing. Zajac has a NMC and it seems like he might not waive but it could be a possibility

People on here think so but management doesn't and watching the goals he's allowed over not really. Besides if TB is depending on anyone in net not named Vasilevskiy they're done

A goalie with a sub .880 save percentage we already have two of those so why not a third. The goalie situation is comically bad, Grubauer plays Vezina quality goal tending Avs steam roll everybody, anybody else plays guaranteed 2-3 complete softies and blow a late lead. If Dell can do that I am sure we will listen.
