Strong trade. I definitely see TOR unloading Kerfoot to free up some cap.

Debrusk, imo, is better than kerfoot. Why are we giving up a 3rd AND DeBrusk for kerfoot? Detroit and Boston say no, in case you were wondering.

Why is it Toronto giving up the least and getting the most?

While Kerdoot is a center, he is a 3rd line center, Debrusk is having a bad year. Why would Biston sell low and take back a bigger contract and giving up a pick. Bruins need secondary scoring not another 3rd or 4th line winger.

This deal falls apart due to the Boston connextuon.

Change it to Toronto gives up the third and Boston gives up a seventh. And there's no way DET and BOS retains salary and my Leafs get off scott free......
