Switch strome with chytil
Switch 6th round pick to 4th rounder and both teams accept.

But mcdavid isn’t available
We don’t even know if Eichel is
You’d have to OUTBID at least half the league for him if he was though- so it’s not gonna be cheap
If that means u don’t want him- that’s fine
PLENTY of other teams will

Rangers don’t need Eichel. Let the other teams give up everything for just a good player. Rangers are out

Fine by me
U guys don’t have good enough Center prospects for an Eichel trade anyways
We’ll happily deal with LA instead

*Eichel is EXACTLY what you guys “NEED” though

Perfect! Eichel can’t get 100 points. Strome has been better than him this season. We have a bright future and no team in the NHL will ever give a package close to this for Eichel.

Half the League really, name me 10 teams who have the prospects to move, 1st round picks they are willing to move and cap space. You have a short list of teams who can afford Eichel. I highly doubt the Kings are willing to move multiple first round picks in any trade

Kevyn Adams himself has said that he wants four first-rounders or the equivalent for Eichel, so that's Kakko, Strome and the two draft picks. Montour as a 20-game rental is probably worth Georgiev at most, so take Lundqvist, Reunanen and the second out of this.

Good grief
Sabres can take back Cap
And u have NO CLUE that teams wouldn’t be willing to pay up for Eichel

Eichel is a top5-10 canter in the league who is YOUNG and UNDER CONTRACT long term

You have ZERO KNOWLEDGE of what any team will or won’t be willing to give up for him,
so stop acting like u do- it’s pathetic

Hahaha you’re crazy to think that any team will pay that. If they would he would already be gone since KA openly said he wants equivalent of 4 1sts. If he gets traded it will be for far less than this package and you will cry 😢

Stop being delusional, the Rangers aren’t offering that for Eichel. Send him elsewhere and get that type of return cause it’s not gonna be from us. Literally making our team worse long term by giving up that much.

1- Adams did not say that

The idea that you think any GM gives that up for Eichel is insanity. At least all other BUF fans understand that teams can’t afford or just won’t pay the package that the fans want to see. I get that you’re frustrated with your team and want the world for what should be your franchise player but you need to come to terms with the fact that no one would pay this price for him. I wouldn’t expect that package for Panarin who is 1. Better 2. More term... His career will just continue as a Sabre, 3 years from now will be traded for even less. But you can keep living in this dreamland that he is worth the same as McDavid.

Ur missing the point what teams have what ur looking for and would also be willing to make the trade. You don't have half the league trying to trade for him your lucky to have 5 teams with reasonable offers for him

Let’s play the game where we all have no clue what a team will pay for him. Sure, the Rangers could give Fox, Shesty, Laf, Kakko, Zibby and Bread for Eichel right... but in this same vein, we would also have no clue what BUF would accept for him too.. So it could be Ruenanen, Hajek, Henriksson, 3rd...

Now, I would hope you could get behind the concept that 1 is too much and 1 is too little for him. As I can get behind your theory of we don’t know what the package will be. Now given history of trades, currently performances, projections, etc.. we should be able to come up with a grey area what the package will look like... that’s why this site exists as a matter of fact... yet here you are, telling people they could never know what a team will pay, why did you create an account if there is no pint in discussing something we could never know??? Now, you tell me to grow up for what reason? Because I said the deal is too heavy? You’re the one who calls people names on here and can’t have a intellectual discussion. I think you should reevaluate your actions and why you have an account. Maturity comes in time my friend

Literally EVERY TEAM IN THE LEAGUE has young players who have recently been drafted in the 1st round, and future 1st round picks

Let’s say the Sabres “must have” a high quality Center back in the deal. Just bc NyR (for example) doesn’t have one, it doesn’t mean they can’t offer pieces that push up the offer that say LA would have to make

You’re making assumptions about things you’re just guessing on
But even if there are just 5 teams that really want Eichel & are bidding against each other- that’s still gonna drive up the already high starting price for him, & result in a really great haul for Buffalo most likely

Lets try this again, any trade involving Eichel will most likely involve a few prospects and 1 if not more 1st round picks. Any team that is rebuilding would be dumb to move first round picks so that knocks out DET, ANA, OTT, SJS and NJD. I'd put the Kings there but thats hit or miss because I still think they have a few years before they can really contend so more seasons of high picks that would be a mistake to trade. Then you have to knock out teams with 2 high quality centers so EDM, PIT, TOR, TBL, WSH, WPG and STL. Teams with no cap space NYI, VGK. You also have to assume that Buffalo doesn't want to trade him within their division so there goes BOS, MTL, and FLA.

After all of that you have 12 teams
NYR
PHI
CAR
CHI
DAL
NSH
CBJ
COL
MIN
VAN
CGY
ARI

I dont see what team there would want Eichel and could drive the price up against the Rangers besides Colorado and it doesn't seem like something Sakic would do

Add back LA, bc i already know for a FACT they’ve been calling us about Eichel for a year & a half
And even if we don’t wanna trade with someone in our division, that doesn’t mean they won’t be making offers & driving up the price. For example, i know Boston has also been in contact for over a year now discussing Eichel.

That puts u at over half the League
So there ya go
Even if the rest of your logic is correct (which it may or may not be), I’m still right about “half the league”
AND AGAIN....
even if it’s just “5 teams” like you said,
that’s still PLENTY to drive up the price

Thanks for playing, but your own logic worked against you
Nice try though

If your a real Sabres fan than u along with everyone else in the league knows that the idea of them trading Eichel to Boston will never happen and I also love how u ignore the fact that more than half the teams listed have no prospects u would really want because u guys are looking for a center. Whats that like 3 teams from the above

Of course we are very unlikely to trade Eichel to Boston....
but if Boston really wants him (and it appears they do) then they’ll make a significant offer, which we can then use against other teams to make them bid more
Just like we’d use the NyR offer to up an offer from say LA, bc the Kings have the Center prospects we’d want & NyR doesn’t.

And I’m not “ignoring” anything
Sure, some of those teams can’t make as attractive a package for Eichel as some other teams- but it doesn’t mean we won’t use them to drive up the price either.

This really isn’t all that complicated
LOTS of teams will make offers....
best one wins IF it’s good enough
Otherwise, we keep Eichel. He’s under contract for 5 more years after this, so there’s no hurry to do anything

Your logic has failed
You aren’t getting him cheap
And you’re not changing my mind- so just give it up
