Nothing cause they are not trading unproven prospects. But if it was part to get a young RHD that has shutdown ability than I'd be fine with it.

The only real value I see in Long Island native Bracco is he part of the package that gets the Leafs either Hamonic or Pulock, if the Isles might lose on of those guys in the expansion draft.
A few years ago the Toronto Raptors drafted some 18 year from Brazil who had never really played any high level basketball....The quote from the commentator was "He's two years away from being two years away." I put Bracco in that category. A real wild card who needs lots of work on his body, skating and approach to the game at the pro level.

Bracco, in my opinion, can fetch the Leafs quite a fair amount. Hockey is a sport unlike many others and with how well he's played in the juniors without anyone truly driving him and then his great showing in the World Juniors, he definitely shows that he has the skillset to make the NHL. On top of that, his size doesn't much matter, considering how Marner, Gaudreau and even Kane are doing, all with rather small frames. Size is being beaten out by speed in todays NHL and Bracco is the perfect fit for the future, but possibly not the Toronto Maple Leafs future, which is why I can see a trade. But he's not going to be an added sweetner in a trade, he's gonna be a big part of it. I can see him going for a prospect defensmen, someone who also hasn't played any NHL or AHL time. I could envision a Bracco for Philippe Myers trade, something along those lines whether or not the value is there. He could be part of a larger trade for a NHL RHD in my opinion as well, since he has already started to prove his ability. Some teams give up great players for just draft picks, all of which could end up becoming flops, even first round picks, the safety with taking Bracco is that he's already showing the ability to score and produce at different levels under different amounts of pressure, and teams will look at that with more value than an average draft pick that could be a superstar or could be a mark in the books as the worst draft pick. Bracco is gonna be something, whether it be special in the Top 6 or just a guaranteed winger in the mid 6, he'll be something, and that's more certainty than you could get with a draft pick

Not saying Bracco can't change but he does not seek contact when trying to remove a puck from an opposing player. Marner and Kane do it, so right now "the small frame" is the only comparison they have.
Used to drive me nuts that Phil Kessel as a Leafswould not help his Dman retrieve a puck, though Phil was fearless in other ways, and wasn't afraid to take a hit, he certainly didn't engage physically for "puck retrieval
But don't compare skill sets in junior and AHL to what is needed to an competent NHLer. Hundreds, maybe thousands of guys have been stars, top scorers in junior, NCAA, AHL and have only got a sniff of the NHL, because their game and skill set couldn't make them NHLers. I'm not saying the Leafs should give up on him, but he was drafted 61st for a reason...there is uncertainty he is going to be an NHLer.

Really hard to gauge what his value is in a trade as of right now. As good as he's been, he's still very much a variable. Lots of players have lit up the OHL and played well in the WJC to only end up being AHL fodder.

The fact that he's a smallish forward and not in the elite class a la Marner, Keller, Ehlers, etc makes him less attractive in value then he probably is. T.O should keep him because I dont think he gets the value you think he's worth until he at least starts lighting up the AHL.
