If they aren't willing to include one of their big 4 young pieces (Caufield, Suzuki, Romanov, Kotkaniemi) they probably don't have a realistic package that would get that deal done. I don't think a 1st and bunch of middling prospects gets that deal done. The Habs have some interesting prospects but interesting =/= valuable in terms of trade assets.

If Calgary misses the playoffs again, I think they seriously consider trading Gaudreau, but Montreal has more of a need for Monahan.

Habs fans need to realise Drouin's value....It's not high. If he struggles the rest of the year he may be a serious cap issue.
