Very improbably moves, but I tried not to be too ridiculous. Obv the Laine deal is going to raise eyebrows. But for what it's worth, that's a lot of high end prospects and firsts. And Sharangovich probably isn't a familiar name but he is one of the leading rookie point producers (6th as of today per NHL.com), extremely talented center w high ceiling ... Again, probably not likely, but there is a sense that Laine may not be a great fit w the Jackets, and if they wanted to shake things up... you never know!

So, when I do these I try my best to put forth an offer that would be palatable to the other team. I think Laine next to Hughes would be amazing, and while it is a hefty package to give up, the Devils have spent enough time in the basement.

Most I would give up with me Zacha, Mercer and a pick.

If you look at it this way though, you're essentially giving up 4 x 1st round picks, including your 2022 which, despite making some decent additions here, could very well be a lotto pick in a stacked draft, plus you've added Shango, Boqvist and Johnson, all of whom carry some value
