Description

I really wish the NHL would reevaluate the annual player awards that aren't a given... i.e. Art Ross, Richard. Jennings etc.
The MVP (Hart) is supposed to be the Most Valuable Player to his team... so to me it should be a player that exceeds at all levels in the arena, leads by example, not just points. Crosby and Bergeron in my mind should be regular winners of these.
The Most Outstanding Player (Ted Lindsay) should just be the player most outstanding as viewed... i.e. McDavid should be winning regularly.
Most Defensive Forward should be about stopping goals as much as possible while contributing offensively.
Most Valuable Dman should be similar to MVP. All ends of the ice.
Most outstanding is what the Norris is basically today... whoever puts up the most points...

That's not what the world valuable means.

"most defensive forward" is really just "defensively solid forward with good scoring season"

Did you accidently misplace McAvoy with Carlson or whats going on???
