I don’t mind the return for the Wild but I’m hoping they keep Dumba for next year. I’m telling you though, Menell would fit in for less.

quit your overreacting. "nowhere near NHL ready" despite being a mobile, defensively responsible forward that put up better than 0.5 ppg in one of the best leagues in the world. He's a year or two away, relax.

Definitely, there is a possibility for that, but capwise it is better to trade him. We might wait one more year though.

You say that....but I just finished 2 ACGMs that say it’s possible. The saving grace is that Boldy and Addison aren’t up for a new contract until Dumba is out of contract and Rask comes off the books in his final year.

Thats what I say. But if we get a god return for him...

Oh yes, it’s all about the return but he’s not nearly the cap anchor he’s made out to be. And I was probably the biggest proponent of trading him until recently. If Cole and Bonino resign on reasonable deals, Rossi performs as a middle 6 C and Boldy is as advertised, then Dumba helps this team compete in the 2nd round.

If Addison can prove he’s worthy of a top 6 spot then work with Dumba to find him a home in his final year. But the real questions that need to be answered are the contracts for the big 3 and how you get another C.

Are you sure you want to trade Zacha? He had a heck of a game tonight and a sick goal in OT. smile

Love Zacha, but we do need a top-4 d-man (or two)

Eklund probably isn’t. But he really isn’t central to this ACGM.
I added him to since he and Holtz were linemates this year. And have mostly taken d-men with that 1st pick.

Could also go with Mercer for 3C. Or Sharangovich. Or Kuokkanen.

    BECAUSE ZACHA IS ELITE

What about Thompson, Merkley, Islanders 1st?
