Description
Don’t sign hall or rask, sign them after exp, protect Frederic over Ritchie because he’s younger, sign Reilly after the draft if he wants to

Offering kase a 1m 1y is a low risk good reward potential, if he can be healthy he’s a good option, but personnalité if we can sign cheaper let’s go but not over 1M for me

I don't like any of the trades. Too much to get rid of Moore, especially when you aren't even to the cap

Too much for Tuukka, or let him walk I would hope krejci takes less, but I'd be ok with that for one year.

Miller will get more if he is healthy.

Too many years for McCabe, dude can't stay healthy, He is the Kase of defensemen.

Mccabe probably won’t be ready at the start of the season either. His leg injury was brutal.

I disagree with protecting Fred over Ritchie. I don't think Fred has the offensive potential that Ritchie does.

I think when you factor in number of years of team control - also, I think Ritchie's biggest asset is Debrusk stinking this year. If Debrusk does what he is supposed to do, we don't Ritchie on PP and top 6 and his production goes way down.

Lauko, Steen and Studnicka should all be in the mix next year too. I don't see Ritchie in top 9 role.

I think They would take Kase for pure potential. IF and I know it's big, but if he is healthy for 1st half of year, you can easily get a late 1st for him. When healthy, he is a top 6 player with very similar value to Debrusk.

I saw an interesting Seattle mock pick where they trade Debrusk to Seattle to get them to take moore and the Bruins get a pick back. I think it was a 1st which is too much given the assumed high pick Seattle will have and Debrusk coming off a terrible year. There may have been another player involved too like Zboril or Kuhlman.

Agreed but I think Boston finds a way of keeping both. If they do that would mean DeBrusk as the odd man out either in a trade or expansion draft deal. Cassidy has come out and said he likes his "heavy" 3rd line of Ritchie/Kuraly/Coyle. I think the playoffs will go a long way to determining what the Bruins do regarding DeBrusk/Ritchie.

Don't devalue what Ritchie has done this year by saying his biggest asset is DeBrusk stinks. Ritchie, although far from perfect is a top9 because his assets include size, good hands and some toughness. He has earned it. The biggest asset of DeBrusk stinking is that we went out and got Hall, a legitimate and much better top6 than DeBrusk.

If they weren't going to protect Frederic, they would have traded him. He was injured and then healthy scratch. I like Ritchie, but he is barely a top 9 forward. He is a big body with decent hands. His biggest asset was Debrusk being terrible, or he doesn't end up in top 6. Since Hall got to Boston, Ritchie has been on 4th line frequently. If Debrusk Produces at all, Ritchie is on the 3rd line to start the year and his production is much lower.

Also - I don't think he can play better consistently. He gets a lot of garbage goals - which is good. This year was his ceiling IMO. 15-20 goals max. I may agree, although I need to see more that Rithcie has a higher offensive potential, but Frederic will be a better all around player.

For as big and tough as Ritchie is, he is letting Frederic fight Wilson while he fights Matt Irwin.

IMO Ritchie is a guy you let score 15 and hope someone else falls in love with him - much like Beleskey.

Would you rather have Beleskey or Greg Campbell?

Nah. The guy stunk this season, he doesn't backcheck and is guaranteed $4.8M after next season. The Oilers should hang onto their picks and spend that money in free agency - they shouldn't have a problem getting a better player for the same money.

If Boston signs Hall they have Marchand and Hall as top6 LW. Better hope someone falls in love with Ritchie or DeBrusk because Boston won't be paying DeBrusk 3.675M or Ritchie 2.5-3M to play on the 4th line. That's Frederic's spot for next year. Would be nice to get good value whether through a trade or expansion draft transaction for whichever one who ends up leaving.
