Calgary probably isn't that interested in Georgiev. Strome is a one year rental. Would need a much better prospect. Even if Calgary wanted to trade Lindholm, this is an easy no.

Clearing out over 5+ million, getting a 1b goalie, a 2c center, a first round pick and a boom or bust prospect for a team looking for a shakeup while lindholm is not a 1c, it would probably be considered whether fans would like it or not.

Flames easily decline, they don’t consider this for a second, also unlikely lucic waives his nmc cause he loves it in Calgary

As much as might think doing the flames a solid taking lucic I don’t think they will see it that way. He’s been solid for them from what I’ve seen.

Lindholm is as much a 1C as Zibanejad, and is locked up for another 3 years on one of the best value contracts in the league. They dont need a 1B goalie. Zero interest in Strome at all, he's significantly overrated. 1st and Gaut is nice though if they were planning on tanking but that's not happening

Player dictates what he does/does not waive for. So no, it's not a general waiver.

Yes but only for the expansion draft so they wouldn’t lose someone else, lucic said he doesn’t want to leave calgary
