You don't want Price, until you realize he's the best goalie you've seen in a Stars uni since Belfour.

Price is signed until he’s 39 years old at $10.5M per year & has declined each of the last 3 seasons. Oettinger is still on his ELC & was statistically the better goalie this year.

Am I saying that Oettinger is the next Carey Price? No, but Dallas isn’t going to give up the future of their net for a guy that has shown signs that he’s on the downside of his career...and is going to cost $52.5M against the cap over the next 5 years.

I mean, that “prospect” statistically did better in the NHL this year than Price did. Why not hang on to the guy that is CURRENTLY playing better & sets you up for success over the next 10 years?

Yes, that Kudo/Bishop/Oetter give a better team like the Stars a better chance at a cup run than Price. Because his stats on an inferior team are worse. (*thumbs up!)
