Most of the outstanding Canadians are in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. I think its good that we're losing! Just means more Canadians are in the playoffs

I don't think that's a valid excuse because Canada still has some decent NHL players. Compare that to teams like Great Britain or Kazakhstan who have nobodys. Canada wouldn't be as dominant with this roster, but they shouldn't be this bad

Good points, but say if say the Oilers didn't make it we'd have a chance of getting McDavid and Nurse to play for us. Then we'll be amazing

Poor depth, bad puck luck, nobody is who really a bonified goal scorer. Lots of these Euro teams (Germany, etc.) play together at different points of the year as well.

I don't think they're as bad as their record shows, but they definitely aren't one of the better teams in this tourney. They just haven't finished on their opportunities. They outplayed the heck out of Germany and Latvia, and just couldn't find the back of the net. The US is another story...their roster is definitely better than Canada's in this tourney.

Well, let's see . . . no Sam Reinhart or Dylan Cozens. No Kirby Dach. No Alex LaFreniere. No Sean Monahan.
