Turris isn't giving us a 3rd. retain as much as possible on him so he costs 750k and we could get a 6th for him I think. Reinhart trade needs a 1st to work. Also Kahun wouldn't like going back there. No way he stays there unless they pay him well. 5m at least. I don't see Danault signing for that he would want a longer contract with more money. Maybe if you play him with Connor or Leon he could accept that as it would pump up his stats. Slavin is a fantasitc defender in his own zone with decent offensive upside and on a great contract(top 5 in the league) but I don't want to give up Holloway for him. Could we give them someting else. Holloway could become a new Danault but he can play on the wing aswell and he has a greater offensive upside. The potential is enormous. I think carolina made a fantastic trade.

Slavin is one of the best, if not the best defensive defenseman in the league. Make the 2nd a 1st rounder in 2023 and it is more likely to happen but still very unlikely as he is a key piece in our defensive core.
