Interesting. Not sure if Reinhardt can be 1C but it’s better than what we got now.

Man I hope they can land Beniers. He reminds me of Tavares. If not, Eklund would be a nice consolation.

You'd have to give up the CBJ pick, not the Toronto one for Reinhart

if youre using the toronto pick this trade doesnt look too good for us. If you didnt want to give up your own pick i would ask for Elvis instead.

There's still nothing appealing to Buffalo about this trade, this draft is an absolute crapshoot so these late firsts arent really valuable

I have no interest in buying high on Reinhart, especially when we've already got our own "wow that was a heck of a season I hope this is the new normal" guy in Roslovic.

Reinhart has always been a 50-60 point player this was nothing new this year. The only thing that was different is he played center the last 22 games and had 19 points in that span.

But we don't need yet another RW. If we're spending significant assets, it has to be for that center we need.

Reinhart has scored over 20 goals in every season except 1 that he’s played. Him centering a line with Laine and Bjorky, i could see him being a 60-70 point player per season. So I just don’t think he’s in the same category as Roslovic, who will hopefully keep producing and work on his faceoffs/defense.

I frankly don't see much reason to believe in his long-term future as a center. And he's not going to be doing much for us defensively either - which was our biggest issue with guys like Roz and Domi.

If rienhart costs us more then this to acquire him im not interested. This draft is a crap shoot so after the first 20 picks or so the scouts will all be keen in on taking “their guy” lots of reaches and lots of fallers. So highly projected players will most likely be falling and my guess is a lot of picks will be moving around

Sorry, he’s not that valuable. Maybe if he was a true center.

If that’s the price Columbus passes. He shouldn’t be worth that to us. Too much risk in hoping he’ll be able to play center
