so obviously this is insane but why is the difference between Byfield and Laf in value is a 73 point player??? Laf is easily better than Byfield

Byfield can reach 60-70 points if not more IMO (kings players never hit the 80-90s haha) and controllable for many years. He improved so much in the AHL and looked good in the NHL. Hell just turn 19 in August. Kopitar never had supporting wingers or else he would have hit 90 points more than once. I hope Byfield has better supporting wingers (Kaliyev), or UFA like forsberg

I highly doubt kings make this trade. Kings don’t need to make a panic move like this.

No way to that Rangers trade. Literally does nothing for us cause he’s a winger and we need centers not wingers. Use some logic about why the other team would even want to do something like this.

Definitely do the ARI trade so Matthews can walk there in 3 years and be with his buds. Freddy will probably be there too

If you happen to see dozens of Leaf fans trading away one particular player as fast as humanly possible, he's probably not worth the previous years 1st OA Pick.

I suppose he could follow that path, just feels a bit risky to bank on him being better than Marner but if you think he can better, that's a risk worth taking

They play different games but point wise, yes I think he can put up similar numbers
