Never mind that for a cap calculator which paring doesn’t matter but with how bad the defense is and how good seider has been I absolutely could see him on the first pair.

I was going back and fourth on a first or a second and I let my bias win the coin flip. But a 2nd would be comparable to the staal deal.

laugh laugh Seider didn't carry his own pair in the SHL He was only named Defenseman of the year in the SHL. So yeah he more then carried his own pair in Rogle

They're probably suggesting that Eric Gelinas was better which is very likely (awards voting is mostly unreliable) but that's still a bit harsh for Seider

Very true but if I only had one first over the next 2 yrs I’m picking in the 2022 stacked draft then picking in this yrs wild card draft
