Ducks would just keep Perreault and a very good chance at Shane Wright, they arent trading anything of value for a win now player with one year left

Anaheim is rebuilding they aren't doing a contender move. Which is good because that is horrible for us. Backlund is not a 1c Zary won't be 2c ready next year. Lucic is an amazing leader and should be kept for that reason. NYR declines

No chance Winnipeg gives up a 2nd for a declining 38 year old defenseman even with retention.

Oh it's not particularly close haha.

According to SPAR, Strome has been worth an average of 7.1 mil in terms of on-ice value over the last 2 seasons. During that time, Monahan was worth -400k. That's...negative 400k. He was below replacement level this season.

Strome has a value worthy of 1st++ and Monahan doesn't have much value at all given his cap hit.
