Ritchie has 4 playoff points.. why don’t you want him in your lineup?

he is what he is. Also, last game was literally the best he has played all series. At least he was noticeable.

Debrusk has been far worse.

Ritchie on the 3rd, Debrusk on the 4th.

Frederic is a bad penalty waiting to happen.

Ritchie was horrifically bad last night. Lazy. Disinterested. Provided nothing.

People ragging on Ritchie, meanwhile Hall is a no show for how many games? -3 and 0 points in the last 2 games. But yeah, it's on Ritchie.,..

It doesn't help people underestimate NYI uncanny ability to drag teams down into the mud and bury them in it.

It's pretty much over, they needed Carlo & miller back badly. Unless tuukka or swayman can steal a game they won't win. The forward group was fine last night, the D just need to play better defensively but i dont see it happening with these current D pairs unless Mcavoy, Gryz play 30+min & Reilly, Clifton play 20+min. Hopefully the refs put the whistles away. Honestly that's prob what costed BOS that game. Just gotta pray to the hockey gods for some puck luck.

Saying it’s pretty much over is realllly dumb. Sure, they could lose game 6. Of course that’s a possibility. They just outshot this team like 2.5 to 1, and had some bad breaks. Play the same game in game 6, and they’ll probably get a win, and then it’s game 7 at home, hopefully with either carlo or miller.

They most certainly could lose, but over? That’s so stupid.

Hall's lasting memory of this series is getting tossed down to the ice in some goonery by Mayfield and then stupidly getting up acting like he's going to fight him, only to get his head punched in.

"significantly better" is really some relative words here.

I used a relative term because I thought it a horrid waste of time to discuss Ritchie vs Hall. It’s one of the dumber notions I’ve ever encountered.

No one really expects Ritchie to "save" the whole 2nd line either.
Which was horrible when he got there because the center is old as hell and it shows, and there isn't much else there because DeBrusk has decided to not GAF after they didn't pay him on a long term deal.
Lets be honest, he's got 1 goal and 1 assists in 5 games. To say he's looking better is really a sad statement of affairs. It's the 1st line or the team dies. They have no help. And NYI are seemingly dragging that 1st line down into the mud game after game. With plays like ClutterFcuk trying to kill Pasta in center ice.

it doesn't help when the Bruins get carried away and take stupid penalties, the isles are out physically them. Bruins can complain about the penalties but at the end of the day your PK has to not allow 3 goals in 4 attempts. Bruins don't have the defensive depth and are probably wishing they had Krug and Chara now. This series is far from being over.

Its not my PK. I am not a member of the team.

They’re PK was bad, but kind of explainable. One horrific turnover by kuraly, one unfortunate bounce of both of clifton’s skates, and one clearing attempt that involved tinnordi’s stick exploding. That and two of the teams top penalty killers out of the lineup.

Still mystified that kuraly’s stick infraction was called.

Well that's what i meant. I meant like the series is over bc they were gonna lose, which was inevitable.

Not really considering how the D have played without Carlo & Miller and how Rask is dealing with injury. If your trying to get technical then yes, they had a chance to win, obviously. Any team can win any game at any time against any team. Except the odds were not in BOS favor to win game6 which is how i formulated my original opinion.

Its hockey. Its super high variance. Odds not in the bruins favor means they’re like 45% to win.
