I personally would drive Tkachuk and Zary to the airport for this deal

Look at his buyout. Two years seems about right. Theres a huge cap hit two years from now, then its less ugly. Might as well let him play until then.

There’s no need to add Olofsson to the Calgary deal. Eichel alone should get that done. If not, Calgary can keep the first round pick.

How about we keep Tkachuk and give you more futures instead (assuming you are taking out Olofsson). From what Friedman said yesterday Buffalo seems to have no intention of getting him healthy before trading him and instead are per say "pushing the problem onto someone else."

Friedman is generally full of ****. Take nothing he says seriously, I don’t. He might as well work for hockeybuzz. So long as Jack is heathy for training camp (and he should be) his current condition means precisely nothing. He’s a top 10 center, certainly worth a package like that.

I like to hear that. Seems reasonable enough both ways

True but package him in a Risto deal then. He’s one sided

No. Also he might pull a 360 and not do surgery just to get out of town

I’ll take the side of him that guarantees 20 goals a season, thanks.
