Description
Completely unrealistic and a trade both teams would decline, but I wanted to see what an Eichel to Tampa trade would look like.

They're not going to trade him, but what a come up for Florida that would be.

Call me crazy, but despite being a major player, I’d be hesitant to keep trading multiple 1sts cause eventually it catches up to you. I know they won’t be ready for a while, but gotta keep the prospects coming to keep contending in my opinion.

THey've done it before and traded a 1st that ended up being Beauvillier for a 2nd and 3rd that ended up being Cirelli and Stephens

Time to continue on past history and grab another solid winger and defenseman.

Yeah it’s honestly crazy their innate ability to find talent in the middle rounds.

I think some of it has to do with their development too. I think the Syracuse Crunch has the staff for developing talent in the AHL

It really helps they pretty play the same style as Tampa so the transition is usually pretty seamless for guys in my opinion.

If that's the price for Verhaeghe they're gonna sell out of them quickly. Personally, I'd take 6 or 7.

If Tampa can get Eichel by throwing almost anything at Buffalo I'd say do it. Cirelli is probably the biggest exception to that, along with Kuch and Vasi. (Well, maybe Point too I guess)((and Coleman, hilariously, but that's never happening for other reasons))

You do realize he scored 18 goals in 43 games?

Edit: regarding Verhaeghe;
I don't look at goals scored as a singular metric to determine player value.

But regardless, my point is that he's worth way more. He has amazing underlying numbers, but they're not that far off from last year. Play him as much as an elite forward and he will produce as one - cause he is one.

My other point was that any good you do by adding Eichel is nullified by removing Cirelli from the lineup. He's one of the best defensive forwards there is, and still has a positive offensive impact on top of that. I don't think trading Cirelli-Eichel one-for-one even makes sense for Tampa.
