The ducks might be willing to take Zucker’s contract if you gave anything of quality but you didn’t. Ducks pass.

Just because you don't know anything about what you're getting doesn't make them poor quality. Ducks accept. About the only part I wavered on was making one of those picks a 1st or a 2nd, which might make sense in a counter proposal.

Fischer isn't really a Lemieux replacement, but at that price, I still think the Rangers take it.

Sabres have no need for Pettersson.

The ducks don’t want a bad goalie, an older winger that’s no better than Silfverberg, Henrique, or Getzlaf making 5.5M for 2 more seasons, a B prospect, a goalie that would be behind Dostal on the depth chart, and two 2nds. There’s no quality and you’re sending significant cap back.

Marino doesn't make sense for NSH. They already could be protecting as many as five dmen in the expansion draft.

I think I may have changed my mind on the Pettersson trades.
Instead of giving up draft picks, I think Buffalo would do it with prospects.
Pettersson for the rights to Pilut.

The Penguins shed cap, Pilut is probably better than anyone the Penguins could get in the 3rd or 4th round and is NHL ready.
He may be willing to return the NHL to a playoff team than the dumpster fire in Buffalo.

The Sabres get an over paid but solid LHD who is signed for the next four years.
The Sabres could expose him to the Krakens and let them pick one of Miller or him.
