Eichel’s trade is relatively high but not as high as Sabres fans believe it to be due to his recent injury lowering it a bit. The Ducks have already stated that Zegras and Drysdale are untouchables so I figured the best prospect behind those two would be Perrault. Comtois is developing into a 30 goal scorer with the right players alongside him and Steel can be a reliable center to have in Buffalo as well. 3rd OA doesn’t suck either.

I’d rather trade Terry over Comtois. I think the ducks should add Comtois to the Zegras and Drysdale list. Saying that I don’t think the ducks could get Eichel without Comtois tho.

I would think Anaheim wouldn't want to deal Comtois either. Obviously Zegras and Drysdale shouldn't be touched. Anaheim might offer up Jones or Lundestrom.

CBJ take that Henrique trade, but I don’t think it’d be a 3rd, necessarily. Even with retention, it’s a $3.85M hit, so it’s not nothing.

How’s about you take Kevin Stenlund and Gerbe along with Karlberg? Both great Bottom-6 forwards, Stenlund has some upside on the PP, also still has team control after this season, assuming a one year deal.

Just say you don't want to pay up for eichel. Don't offer nonsense for an elite player

I realize that we aren't going to get an equivalent established player for Eichel, but my hope in any sort of trade is that we'd get some piece with the potential of replacing him. I like Comtois and Perrault, and #3 is a pretty dang good add-in, but I just struggle with any proposal that doesn't include a relatively high-end center.

Value is probably fine here, but I don't think I'd make this trade. I'd rather wait for Jack's injury to come to some sort of resolution, and either deal him then when his value is higher or attempt to salvage the relationship and keep him.

I think you are close on Eichel

Comtois = a young good roster player
Perrault = a good prospect (3rd in Ana system behind Zegras and Drysdale)
    but make it 2 firsts

this comes out to 3 firsts and a 2nd

Anaheim isn't even my team. But, i don't see Comtois being traded nor Drysdale or Zegras. Whatever the return might be,you're likely going to be disappointed. There's a saying that goes "if you're trading the best player in a deal, you lose the trade". And that has held true even if you're unaware the player you dealt with is better. No matter the return, the likelihood of all of those players dealt to Buffalo being quality is not likely.
