No, we wouldn't be willing to trade Trevor Zegras OR the third overall pick in this year's draft for two rentals, no matter how good.

As for Zegras, what has he done in the NHL? Nothing. Just because he was the #9 pick in the 2019 draft doesn't mean squat. Middlestat was a #8 pick in his draft whoopee doo. Anybody wanna give up anything good for him? No. Same goes for Jack Quinn, Cozens or anyone else that's not a concensus #1 pick. Unless you're a so called "generational talent" it's just a crap shoot.

I just pointed that out because it is a pet peeve, your opinion would be less biased for sure. That said when it comes to Flames/Sabres stuff, I've found Buffalojonny one of the more intelligent and reasonable Sabres fans. He was definitely right that we'd deal Tkachuk for Eichel 1 for 1 though.

I'm not that concerned with the injury in terms of a trade, as I feel before anything the Flames would review things with doctors thoroughly.
