Buffalo... They aren't gonna bring down Eichel's value by shipping him off with skinner

It's fair but Buffalo isn't gonna diminish Eichel's value by trading Skinner with him

You have to kidding. Seattle spends 19m a whole lot better on UFAs than Eichel and Skinner and keep first rounder.
Don't know if Seattle would even take Skinner and Eichel for a 7th rounder.

idk man. you're getting an elite franchise level talent. add jones and hamilton to that blue line and all of a sudden you got a pretty good young core coming along.

Why not add Hamilton and next season Jones (or another good UFA) and Seattle would be better cap wise and on ice than 19m invested in Eichel and Skinner....Plus they have those two high draft picks.

Skinner’s negative value is probably the same as Eichel’s positive value at this point, maybe even higher. Spending 1/9th of your cap on a liability is a HUGE nerf, and it has like 6 years remaining. At best this would be the equivalent of spending a quarter of your cap on Eichel, and while he’s good, he’s certainly not that good. If Skinner unretained is in the deal you’re not getting the 2nd overall pick back. At best you get future considerations, and there’s a pretty solid argument for Buffalo adding tbh.
