          Manson would be confined on the third pairing behind Petry & Weber. If Drouin is dealt for a RD, it would ideally be one who can play on the PP

          Thats fair, Yeah I guess MTL already has "their Manson" with between Chariot and Edmunson I'm not 100% on any of these to be honest ahah. I feel like if Manson gets moved it's in more of a "Hockey" trade I think the Ducks could be in-play for Drouin seeing how bad we need offense and how much cap space we have

          Yeah our defense is full of Mansons to be honest. What harmed us during the second half of the regular season is the lack of offense/mobility from the blueline.

          I'm a big fan of how Montreal is playing and how the roster is put together. I'm pulling for you guys in the finals ahah, the whole playoff run so far has been a joy to watch. Get my boy Perry a second cup!

          I like the idea of Ottawa adding Manson but it would be tough to justify giving up White and a pick for potentially one year of Manson when theyre not contending yet. If there was an extension attached to the trade or if Ottawa was closer to seriously competing for the Cup I'd be more open to it. Realistically making a serious push for the playoffs is the goal and at that price Manson could end up being a very expensive rental for a team on the bubble or even on the outside looking in.

          If the pick were conditional on Manson resigning does that change things? Or maybe something more complex like if Manson doesnt resign ANA adds a pick and if he does OTT does?

          Ottawa needs White more than they need Manson, but regardless, I wouldn't trade them one for one.

          I'm okay with the other four ideas, but I'm not a Jonathan Drouin fan.

          I'd take Wade Allison from the Flyers if they didn't want to give up on Nolan Patrick just yet.

          That’s fair, this post mainly came out of boredom during a slow work day haha

          I think Drouin could be an interesting add for us, I am by no means a Drouin fan I just think infusing some skill into this lineup is needed
