I think Seattle won't take de Haan's contract unless Hawks pay them to, I think another faction that turns them away from de Haan is his injury history. With Connelly they get a serviceable bottom 6 foward, that has playoff experience with the Capitals. Hasktoll does love veteran players, which makes me believe if Keith isn't traded before the expansion draft they will select him for his leadership and his experience in the league, not to mention he would be a good 3rd pairing defensemen for them.

I don't really want to talk about the Hawks scandal, but I'm a big believer in innocent until proven guilty. But I don't think people should rush to judgement because only one side story is out right now and the independent investigation just began.
          But here's my GM candidates:

          Jeff Gorton (Former Rangers GM)
Mark Bernard (Iceohogs GM & VP. of Hockey Operations)

If nothing else I'd be ecstatic if that dallas trade happened. I'm so worried they're gonna do something stupid like give zadorov money now that keith wants out.

CDH is always injured. I think I'd stay away unless this is an absolute last resort. Isles could trade Leddy for a low pick, attach him with someone (Hickey?) or just leave open to expansion and clear the whole salary. Just sign a stop-gap replacement for him in free agency

I don't want him either... But it sound like Bowman wants to add an elite defensemen, I think that going to be Jones or Dougie. Personally the Hawks should wait next offseason to get an elite defensemen because their going to be a lot of option during FA.

VAN declines. Keith's name is mud in Vancouver plus we already have 3 LHDs. Loui can be sent elsewhere without taking on dead cap, or waived or bought out.
