I wouldn't say it's a fair deal but it is what Sakic is asking for. I think it's too much to give up from Nashville's side.

I don't mind the trade I think it's set up well the only issue I could see is nashville's lack of depth on the left side on the blue line. All of there higher end prospects like carrier, fabbro, etc are on the right side

Would be a smart move for the expansion draft as well, nashville could protect Ellis.
