The only dman you have that's better than Dermott is hronek, now stop acting like Detroit is the pinnacle of the league and be atleast a somewhat respectable poster.

Was there any point that they weren't? Holl>Dermott, so even if they go 4-4-1 there's a near zero chance he gets protected.

I never thought so, but I just imagined that Toronto would sign Dermott for 1 year, if they were re-signing him to meet the draft exposure requirements. The term just seems a little speculative to me lol

Nah, I'd assume that it's just meant to create cost-certainty, which might entice Seattle to take him over Kerfoot or Holl (in the event that they go 7-3-1).
