I told you the Leafs were looking at Bertuzzi

Created by: RowdyRoddy96
Team: 2021-22 Toronto Maple Leafs
Initial Creation Date: Jul. 10, 2021
Published: Jul. 10, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
So I'd preferably have the Leafs trade Kerfoot before the Expansion alongside a prospect ( Doesn't have to be Liljgrenn but the Leafs have to come to a decision on him and whether or not he is going to be an NHL player or not ) I did say that Bertuzzi was on the trade block and alot of Wings fans lost their minds at that and now Friedman confirmed what I said.
If Kerfoot is off the Table by then it would make the Expansion choices either Holl or Dermott which Dermott would then be claimed being the younger, cheaper option?
If Hyman is off the Table give Bertuzzi term over money and see if you can pay him equal to what the Kerfoot contract is? Bring back Foligno and Bring in Getzlaf as a 3rd Center option. If Galchenyuk can be resigned at League Min for 1 year and play in the top 6 for a full season that'll be fine.
Overdrive guys debated signing a goalie that will challenge Campbell for the #1 Goalie spot and I think Mrazek would be the guy to look at then? Decent Goalie but has been plagued by injuries but the Leafs have some of the best medical staffers in the league so it'll be a good bet to get Mrazek over here and play Tandem with Campbell.
Robertson should be a scratch for the time being.
Del Zotto I hope would come aboard being Friends with JT
And either Mcelhinney, Elliott or Craig Anderson as a 3rd goalie.

Lines are as followed
Bertuzzi Matthews Marner
Galchenyuk Tavares Nylander ( because that worked )
Foligno Getzlaf Mikhayev ( Shutdown Line )
Simmonds Brooks Spezza ( Extremely effective 4th Line )

D core is the same for now

Different circumstances. Arvidsson was traded because of ExD, so they didn't get full value. Bertuzzi is on the block because DET want to maximize their return.

OP should be banned for putting out a garbage offer like that

Countless injuries lol. Mantha had a bigger injury history than Bert and look what he returned. Wings don't have to trade him if they don't get an offer they like unlike the Preds with Arvidsson

Stop using the mantha trade as a baseline.

I wasn't using it as a baseline, the only point was Mantha had a more extensive injury history and still had a great return. Bert without a contract won't return as much as Mantha did but Yzerman either gets the price he wants or pulls him off the trade block

laugh laugh Tyler Bertuzzi > > > > > > Kerfoot+Liljegren+Toronto's 2021 5th round pick Kerfoot's value=3rd round pick Liljegrens value=2nd round pick and a 5th round pick that's nowhere near Tyler Bertuzzi's value. How many times do we need to say that RD is our strongest strength within the organization? So Liljegren is a no go. Kerfoot brings no value to the team as we already have better players then him within the organization. And a 5th is a joke. Trust me if Yzerman puts Tyler Bertuzzi on the market better then half the league will have interest in we will get a far better return then what Toronto could ever offer us.

LMFAO What countless injuries has Bertuzzi ever had outside of this past season? The past 2 seasons Bertuzzi has played 73 games and 71 games respectively. And the 71 game season was due to the Covid shutdown with 11 games left the 73 game season he missed more due to illness then injuries. Prior 48 games season he didn't come up until the midway mark. So this season is basically the only season he has missed due to any injurie. Freaking Jack Eichel has missed far more time then Bertuzzi yet his value is still extremely high you're just being ignorant here. FWIW stop using Arvidsson as a comparable Arvidsson wasn't going to be protected so Poile got a 2nd and 3rd round pick for him. You can't compare Arvidsson and Bertuzzi Bertuzzi isn't on the market and Nashville would've lost Arvidsson for nothing. So Bertuzzi's value is still higher then Arvidsson's.

Ok. English must not be your 1st Langauge.

Freidman said the Leafs were interested in Bertuzzi. No where in his article did he SAY WINGS SHPPOING BERTUZZI.

I have interest in Sofia Vegara, unfortunately she has no interest in me.

No where was there an article that Bertuzzi was being shopped and the Freidman saysLeafs have interest and you juml.all over it to see I am right and Wings fans are wrong. But you are building a case for your logistics on your own beliefs still. Until someone comes out and says Wings shopping Bertuzzi, then you still me are incorrect.

If I am not correct, please correct me, but I beleive he even said If Bertuzzi were to become available, Leafs should look into adding him. Does not sound like Wings were shopping, rather Leafs wanted him. Two different and very different things. Toronto media hacks probably ran with it and blew it up to he was being shopped.
