laugh What a joke, We're not trading Tyler Bertuzzi for a guy who's still 2-3 years away from the NHL and a late 2nd round pick. And no freaking way Bertuzzi signs for $4,000,000 on a 5 year deal try closer to $5,000,000 and Hyman signs for far more then $4,500,000 that's for sure.

You're crazy we're not dealing Bertuzzi for futures. Yzerman wants a young NHL ready Forward similar to Bertuzzi you're looking at giving up Robertson at minimal.

The Red Wings are in a rebuild. so moving a player that will be 30 when they come out of the rebuild are ready for players that will grow together kind of makes sense NO?

Bert will sign for around $4M he is coming off back surgery so that will be a factor

Hyman could very well make $6M+ but not in TO.

Bert will be signed for his fair value which is between $4,500,000 to $5,000,000 back injury means nothing. When healthy he's easily a 50-60 point per season player. Yeah well we will probably be signing Hyman to replace Bertuzzi. Probably in the 5 x $5,500,000 range.

Back surgery is nothing for a physical player? There is huge risk that he might not be the same player so he trade value and his contract are both affected.

yes it is very possible that the 2nd could become a 1st or Amirov becomes Robertson. but when you look at deals like this historically he will fetch a 1st and a 2nd.

Rodion and Roberton are both equal to a 1st so that's why I added a 2nd

I think what Bert is willing to sign for would play a factor in the return

Except that you don't have Amirov in your trade, you have Abramov, who is probably worth less than a third.

with that bottom 6 they will be watching the first round of the playoffs. Hyman isn't worth 4 million. In his last 19 playoff games he has 3 goals 2 assists. There are way better physical power forwards available for less money. The only reason Hyman looks so valuable is because nobody else on the team digs the puck out of the corners. Nobody in the playoffs hit except Foligno before he was hurt. T.B trade for Coleman and Goodrow and now have back to back cups. Who lead T.B in hits Coleman and Goodrow. The leafs bottom 6 last year were the softest in the league. This team is exactly the same
