You've walked Dunn to UFA with that signing.

What would be a fair offer to move from 14 to 6OA ? I would assume their next year 1st and a prospect? Maybe not York, but it cant be a trash can either

There's a few leaps here but the philly trade is really bad for the Flyers

Ok, but then what prospect would be more realistic? If the Flyers went from 14 to 6, then i assume they have to give next years 1st and a prospect?

Few leaps? Wtf is going on with that retained salary deal? Not exactly how it works. I think I get the short of it but there are some pieces out of place. Mainly the 3rd that Detroit already owns which should not be involved.

Vegas makes the deal with the blues and runs the trade through Detroit. It’s usually paid with picks but I get the idea of getting dunn for 2 years of retention. It might be a bit much but I’m not sure I could put a proper price tag on dunn.

Besides the Philly trade everything else seems alright.

philly trade is nuts. no way the flyers give up their top D prospect and a first just to move up in this year’s draft.

Fair enough the philly trade is the stretch, really Wings Blues Knights trade, Blues get 1st 2nd and a 3rd, no retention and lose Tarasenko which looks like hes leaving regardless, Vegas needs the cap and definitely could use him, only giving up a 1st and a 2nd for him at 3.75, and detroit gives up a 3rd and eats salary to get Dunn, i think its pretty fair all the way around

Ill change the philly deal.

I don't see Vegas in on tarasenko really, they need a center ,no offense to chandler stevenson , to play with stone and patches.

The issue is that it is more of a 3 way trade rather than a retained salary deal. They usually don’t happen like that.

What would probably make more sense is Detroit making a trade.

Bertuzzi for dunn and tarasenko then retain on tarasenko and take the 1st and and 2nd. 1st 2nd and dunn seems like a great return on Bertuzzi and the money saved on the contract pays for the retention. Leaving them more space to take on more cap dumps for more pucks.

What is that Blues nonsense? They are not doing anything to help Vegas. Flat no.
