Tarasenko and Dunn combined aren't worth that haul. MB should be fired if he made that deal.

You ant to give Stastny a 5 year deal. You might as well just give that contract to Danault. That Tarasenko deal is horrific for the Habs. You're trading away your futur for a guy who hasn't played any decent hockey in years. Always injured and unreliable.

easily one of the funniest comments i've read all day lol. Unfortunately leafs management probably agrees which is why they continue to underperform when it matters. Chairot would bring something you're team desperately needs on the back end, not that a habs-leafs trade like that would happen anyway.

yeah, chariot would bring getting caved in in both shots and chances while getting bailed out by his goaltender and still somehow gifting the other team a goal every game. But he throws crosschecks to forwards lower spines a lot, i guess the leafs are lacking in that department.
It's hilarious how Habs fans somehow think this guy is good because they collapsed in front of price for 3 rounds while price was in god mode.

lol quite the analysis. Chairot brings physicality that the leafs have almost none of on the back end, and right Chairot the only dman that throws crosschecks lol, easy to think that i guess if youre only used to watching the leafs play with little to no fight on the back end.

Not saying Chairot is some godsend elite defender, but to think the leafs wouldnt benefit from having a physical defender on their blueline is insane. Regardless of whether its him they added or someone who plays that same physical style, to think that leads are set or even remotely close to it on defense is ridiculous.

Lets pretend that physicality from the defence was a top 20 issue for the leafs (it isnt, but were pretending). Adding a bad defender who gets mauled by even depth forwards and allows so many shots and high danger chances against is a bad idea even if he is physical.
Chariot is a bad hockey player and he owes cary price a steak dinner a week for the rest of his life for getting other people to think otherwise

You're overpaying for Tarasenko, but the Blues would agree to this deal IMO.

Muzzin plays physical, and we can resign Bogosian who does as well. We have 0 need for a left defenseman, with Rielly, Muzzin, Sandin, and dermott all under contract
