I wouldn't do 2 1st round picks. Most I would do is Wood, NYI 2021 1st and 2022 NJ 2nd. Tarasenko hasn't been good the last 2 years.

He's been good when he plays. Issue is the shoulder which looked really good in the postseason

If people are so concerned about Tarasenko's health, why aren't more people doing conditional picks, like based on performance or games played?

The value on the Islanders pick isn't great as it's late and in a Covid year where we didn't get to see too many players actually play. You're hoping the second first is not in the top 20 again this year. Tarasenko fills the obvious need for a natural goal scorer. He can be flip flopped with Palms as needed.

So I would rather do this trade for Tarasenko. NYI 2021 1st and Kuokkanen. I like Kuokkanen but he's a pass first player and we've got enough of those. Wood is someone we don't have a lot of and would rather keep him. I know Devils fans won't like hearing that, but that's just my opinion.
