Canucks just buy out Louie without dropping in draft. No thanks

Detroit would jump at the Van trade but I can't see Van making that trade unless another pick is going back.

I would accept 20 and 48 for 15, unless an undisputed steal is available.

i dont know about the rangers trade it all depends on which center they have ranked the highest. Thats legitimately our only need

I had Lindstrom going back. Would you do it for mid to late 2nd in either this year or next years draft instead?

In this scenario Cossa is there!

I doubt the rangers trade back, even though the value is fair (unless they really think Raty or another center will fall). More likely they'll trade for an upgrade at 2c.

I probably would but I'm not sure Yzerman would. All depends who is there at 9. I think this entire draft is a crapshoot so having more picks may be better then higher ones.

New York will be more interested in a center. If Cossa is the only sliding prospect, you got a deal

One of Edvinsson, McTavish, or Johnson and both goalies

I don't think that trading down is good for Detroit, going to be some interesting players available. I would rather have move picks in this draft.

Det is only moving up in all these trades. Right now we have 6/22 after trades we have 6/9/16

I would just take 6/9/20 and keep the second I'm saying. Some interesting players could be had in the second round. Two goalies in particular that could be just as good as Cossa. Cossa plays on a really good team so I'm not sure how good he actually is.

Not super smart from a VAN perspective. While I agree its better than making this trade, an Eriksson buyout is not ideal. Just bury him, only thing worse than a 6 year Eriksson contract is making that contract have 7 years of cap implications, wash your hands of the guy at the end of this season

Plenty of contenders will be interested in Suter on a cheap deal. No reason to waste a year in Detroit, based on where they are in their rebuild.
