Hallander at 19 had more points in 15 less games in his adult league than Amirov has at 19. Hallander only had 1 season under his belt whereas Amirov has 2 lol. Oh Hallander has more post season points in his adult league in less games than Amirov. Trading a prospect that at least shows he might show up come playoff time and keep the one that shows he probably won’t. Par for the course with Toronto 😂

they really don't get who McCann was. They seen some highlight reels and called it a day.
I'm not gonna knock McCann to much. It is what it is. Not everyone is going to be more than a role playing piece. But TOR fans already have him slated either 3C or 1st line LW.
Of which he is neither.

He's going to Seattle anyway. This is a larger trade. We just don't see it all yet.
McCann is the price the penguins paid for them to select probably Matheson. Who is probably headed to TOR with retention in some kind of round about way.
